We get together, usually every month, for a filksing and business meeting. Come to sing or just listen. Newcomers are always welcome. Singing ability isn't required, but if you come you might discover you have more than you think. If not, it doesn't matter. Enjoying the songs and company is what matters.
The business meeting usually runs ten to thirty minutes. The host may provide dinner, or it may be potluck. Meetings are usually in eastern Massachusetts or southern New Hampshire, though there have been meetings in Springfield and Providence.
We usually set meeting locations, dates, and times two months in advance. We send out directions to each filksing to everyone on our mailing list. If you'd like to join the mailing list or get directions to a specific meeting, please contact us.
Unless specified otherwise, people can start arriving at the filksing at 2 PM, and there will be a (usually brief) business meeting at 6 PM. Dinner may be before or after the business meeting.
For the duration of the COVID-19 emergency, meetings are being held online. We're using Zoom conferencing. Connection details will be sent with the email meeting announcement.
